Chamelea Science Center workshops and after school programs in Toronto are designed for kids years 3 - 12.(united in programs for ages 3-5 & kids 6 and up ) Kids are engaged in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves.
Although kids spend in school a big part of the day, all the trill and excitement are left out of the regular school program. We love to see those little faces brighten up with curiosity during our after-school programs designed to inspire kids to learn more.
Many parents focus on sports as after-school activities. Do not give up on science! Once your kids develop that thrust for knowledge and continue on their path of science, it might turn later into a wise career choice. We believe that there is a scientist in every kid!
At Chamelea Science Center our after-school programs are designed to teach kids:

- observe and analyze the facts of science and nature
- science, art and historical facts beyond the school curriculum

They are taught by well educated, qualified, and entertaining instructors with the passion for science and teaching kids. All of our workshops are:

- 60-minutes long and span over an 8-week session blocks
- easy to plan and hassle-free to run
- led by well educated, qualified, and entertaining instructors
- hands-on and interactive. There is always something for the children to take home

Our schedule of afterschool programs is very flexible and offers a variety of time slots to accommodate your busy routine, as we know, you might need to include other activities. We are located conveniently in Toronto, at the border with Vaughan, close to highway 407, and easy access from Markham.
